Well hello there! Thanks for stopping by and visiting me on this wonderful day. Since you are on this particular page I am sure you want to know all about me and my five “monkies”. Here in the land of yellow bananas I strive to not disappoint.
My oldest monkies is MacKenzie. Affectionately known as Kenz or Kenzie. She is 10 and divaliscious already. I am soo not looking forward to the day when she hits that dreaded teen stage. She can burn up the phone and can chat with the best of them. Of course her buddies are limited to her grandparents and my little sister (her aunt, bet you couldn’t guess that one! LOL) She is smart as a whip, and loves all things that make her use her brain. She has recently started struggling with math, but I have no doubt she will be back on track in no time flat. She loves to read. She writes her own songs and goes around singing them. She wants to do something in the medical field and would watch Discovery Health all day if I let her. That and Ghost Hunters.
Next is Savanna. I call her Nan or Nanna and she hates it, but knows I will never stop. Savanna is my trying child. She has a learning disability that we are still trying to pinpoint. Some tests seem to point towards ADHD, others point towards some sort of Processing Delay. She has been taking speech therapy for 4 years now, and starts soon going to a local college to get even more extensive speech therapy help. She gets easily frustrated and then her speech goes downhill fast! On the flip side, Nan has a smile that you can’t help but smile back at. She is shy and takes a little bit to warm up to people. Boy when she does though, you are instant family. She has big doe eyes that make you want to give her anything she wants. Her innocence at times make me miss when she was a itty bitty thing. She is full of life and loves to draw. She doesn’t like school, but she is always asking questions.
We have made it to the third monkie in the bunch. Braden. My Bray. Talk about a little nut and all boy! He is a major flirt and (if I do say so myself) cute as a button. He has killer dimples and big green/blue (not hazel) eyes that are going to be the death of me. Either that or his absolute no fear of anything attitude. He loves doing stunts. The harder the flip, the more he wants to try to do it. He mastered a cartwheel at 3! He has recently expressed interest in joining Karate, so we shall see. He loves to draw. He loves to learn and can’t soak up enough. Counting is his favorite right now. Bray is addicted to Spidey-man and SpongeBob.
Connor is the the oldest of my mirror-image-ID twin monkies. Yep he has a whole 4 minutes on his baby bro. We call him the Con-man. I keep thinking though that I might need to change that nickname as it might give him a complex. I really don’t want him to grow up and become the world’s greatest con artist. He is full of life and bounces off the walls. I love watching his personality emerge. Con is definitely rambunctious and likes to take things to the edge. He has a temper, much like his mother. But on the flip side, when he gives snuggle time he makes you feel like the only person in the world! He is very outgoing and is all boy! He loves rough and tumble play and tag teams with Bray on annoying the pee out of their sisters.
Colton is the baby of the bunch. We call him Colt. Kenz calls him Coco (which I HATE!). He takes his baby roll seriously. I refer to him as my own personal “lovie”. He loves snuggles and laptime, and makes me so sad to see him growing into a little man. Proud and happy, but sad for all the future snuggles I won’t be getting. He is the opposite of Con in the fact that his dominant personality trait is that he is shy and sweet. Colt loves anything that involves just being with me . Whether it be watching tv or reading a book. Even sitting at the computer is great when it involves mommy’s lap.
Me? You want to know about me? Well, I am Brandi. I am the natural biological mom to all the monkies listed. One day who knows I might add more to the bunch. Say if I won the lottery and could afford a 10 bedroom home! I would love to adopt, it just isn’t feasible right now. Who knows what God has in store for me and my bunch though right? I started blogging November of 2007 as a fun way to journal my kids lives, and it has evolved from there. I love doing it and I love all the opportunities I get to share with readers around the world! I blog about my life. So if you don’t agree with something I write, then you are definitely entitled to your opinion. You can even express it. I won’t stop you. While I consider myself a Conservative, a Christian, and above all else Mom Most High (I know I am such a dork), I also think of myself as a great friend, a good ear, and I have soft shoulders. I take on everyone’s problems willingly-drives hubs crazy. Here you will find a little of it all. I don’t curse often on here, but when I do you can bet it will be about something I am passionate about. Like pediatric cancer research. I curse a lot when I hear about yet another baby being diagnosed, fighting, or passing because of cancer and diseases in children. I won’t get into it here…I easily could, and you will no doubt see more posts about the topic. Well, that is me and the monkies in a nut shell.
And just because I want to…if you are interested in sponsoring a review, giveaway, or raffle on this site please visit the Services Offered page. You will find all the information on pricing, stat stuff, and even some about sponsorship for conferences. Thank you for taking the time to read about us!

Anyways, I loved your guest poster's Father's day tie post. I love the ugleee pens, but see that a mandatory entree had to be that you tweet…um…at this time…I do well to get at least one post up a week(it takes me so ridiculously long to get a post together…computer challenged! ha) so… will sadly miss this giveaway,
Any who…. what a great blog you have! I was wondering if you could email me, cuz i would love to ask some blogging questions fro your experience…like how do you get the numbers off to the side for each of your commenters?
Blessings & Aloha!
Trying to find a good place to post this that you get it and that it doesnt mess up anything. I have a serious case of OCD, so everything has its place. HA!

I absolutely love your blog. I would like to see if you would post my address for a magazine fundraiser I am promoting. We are adopting a little girl with a special need. Any support would be appreaciated. Most people like magazines, so I thought it would be an easy sell. However, I haven't had much luck with my Facebook "friends". You can visit it @ http://www.magfundraising.com/TheGrossFamily
You can also follow my adoption blog @ http://www.heavensent2ourhearts.blogspot.com.

What's it all about, Alfie? I see the Blogmania Dream Team button and a page with "add your link"… but I can't find any information on what that is and no way to comment? I also can't find your "PR Contact page" that you mention here on your "about" page. Can you send me a link to something that explains all about the "Blogmania Dream Team"? Thanks!
