Dust by Susan Berliner (review)

I have I told you recently how much I love reviewing books? In the past few weeks I have been able to read some great books that I would have probably not picked up and bought, but now realize I would have been missing out!

A couple of weeks ago we were honored with a guest post from Dust author Susan Berliner. If you would like to read that post, just click HERE. Now this week I am going to tell you what I thought of Dust.

Dust starts out and you meet Karen and a strange little dust. She is coming home from the grocery store, and the little dust cloud follows her into her home. Once in it spins and twirls around, picks up a figurine and smashes it. That is when you get the feeling that this little dust is not something you want following you around. The dust goes on to kill Karen’s neighbor. Karen gets some help from her ex-husband in fighting the dust (and at the end, they get help from another source). The dust goes out trying to kill several more people while Karen and Jerry are trying to figure out a way to get rid of it. The try water, fire, ice, and other things. Nothing seems to work. Until Karen gets a bright idea that works!

Dust by Susan Berliner is a great short read. The book isn’t very thick so it would be an excellent vacation read! I loved reading the book and have already passed it on to another friend whom I knew would enjoy it as well. If you would like to purchase a copy of Dust for yourself, you can do so in either paperback or e-book on the Susan Berliner website. Great Christmas gift for the avid reader in your home!
