KRASH!! Helmets for Tweens

Here in the past year or so my boys have really gotten into skateboarding. Well, Braden has. He loves it, and is turning into a regular little skater dude. Scooters are big with the twins more than skateboarding. After being with Chad for some time now, his boys share in the skateboarding passion that Braden has. Cody and Bret really get into it. Sebastian is like the twins and more into the scooters than skateboards. So we have been taking them to the skate park and letting them have a time of it there. Ramps and pipes for all!

One of the things I stress though when they are on the skateboards is that they need to have a helmet on. I cringe every time they take a tumble. Knowing they have a helmet on their heads to keep the brains from getting damaged though helps with the worry. Now when you have so many kids with so many different personalities, finding helmets that suit them all is a challenge. Yeah you can go with the plain old black helmet and sticker it up. But even that gets boring. So in comes KRASH! 3D Helmets. These 3D helmets are super fun for the boys.

KRASH! helmets are geared more toward the tween age group, but if your son has a small head (like Cody or DeRon) then they will fit them as well. We were sent three personality showing helmets, each one a different design, and each one fit one of the boys personalities perfectly! While we were not sent any for the girls, they do offer some really fun girl options as well.

Sebastian, I think, liked his helmet the most. He is always wearing it. All three of the boys (Bret, Braden, and Sebastian) agreed that they liked their helmets design. They thought they were super cool and fun. They also get a bit of attention when they are wearing them. Which of course the boys like. The only complaint that they had were that the straps become itchy and irritating after they have worn them for an extended period of time. I feel that this comes from them getting sweaty and the straps rubbing against their sweaty chins and sides of their heads.

You can find KRASH! 3D helmets for tweens at Toys R’ Us, Target, and online. Each helmet ranges in price from $25 to $28.
