So today we went to Hollywood Studios. Okay so here’s my problem…they have one area for smaller children and the rest is for grown-ups or older kids. So I highly advice getting a Park hopper if you plan on visiting here with little ones. Don’t get me wrong…I loved the park. Had a blast seeing all the different sidewalk characters they had walking around. Saw Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Great show! Loved it! And Kenzie got autographs from two of the Little Einsteins, and Handy Manny. She missed JoJo and her lion, and two other Little Einsteins, but was happy with what she got. We didn’t get to see the Playhouse Disney Live show even though we had wanted to cuz Donnie was in dire need of a turkey leg.
We did ride the Star Wars ride, which was AWESOME. Funny part…Savanna was SCREAMING her head off because she got scared and MacKenzie looked at her and said “Stop being a baby…it’s just like riding a slide with circles!” Should’ve heard her…the way she said it. My child. Not so funny…they don’t have a height thing outside (at least not one we saw), so we once again unloaded strollers, walked through the long line (got to go through fastpass half way through though, cuz once again they took pity on us) and got all the way to the ride…only to find out that Braden and the twins couldn’t sit in our laps like they had for the other show and rides we had done. So Donnie let me ride the ride and CARRIED ALL THREE boys back to the strollers. Poor guy. They told him to just go in the fastpass line and trade out with me when the ride was over, and he could go to the front of the line, but he was sooooo tired from getting the boys to the strollers he didn’t want to. Plus we had to get back to the hotel and get ready for dinner.
We went and saw Arabian Nights. And let me tell you, first order your tickets online from this website, and then GO SEE THIS SHOW! The service was wonderful. The food was great. And the show was OMG!!! So good! The horses were extrodianary. And Hocus Pocus was hilarious. Oh and can’t fail to mention gypsy in blue outfit was gorgeous! He was also very good on the horse. LOL Of course my camera died before all the really good pics were able to be taken, but I did get a few. They will be included in the Disney montage.
Okay after we left the dinner show, I dropped the guys off at the hotel and the girls headed back to Hollywood Studios to watch Fantasmic!. The weather was awful. Lighting, thunder, and rain. So everyone got herded into the Beauty and the Beast spot to wait and see if the show would be cancelled. Luckily it wasn’t. Cuz I wasn’t going to stay for the 10 o’clock show. Now this is a definite must see! Absolutely make it a must do! And try to sit in the bottom of the amphitheater. Wear a poncho if you do, cuz there is some pretty heavy misting going on. Oh and if smaller kids are with…warn them early that it will get VERY hot at one point! Futher back it isn’t bad. The show was spectaculor. And since my camera had died during dinner I have no pics except one I managed to get my very SLOW camera to squeeze out. Then NADA. UGH! Oh well. Now off to get the montage together, and order my scrapbook from Disney.
For anyone who hasn’t been before or it’s been awhile. They give photopass cards out. Which the photographers scan, and whala your pics are viewable online. For editing, creating, and sharing. So easy!
