The Emerald Coast is a beautiful place to add to your “must visit destinations” list. Why? Well, the gorgeous ocean water to play in, the fun shopping, and crazy night life, of course! But when you do plan that vacation to the beautiful Emerald Coast you will want to find a place to stay in Destin that will knock your socks off and make your trip all the more worth it. Am I right?! I mean you don’t want to come all this way and not have a comfy and affordable place to lay your head at night. That is where Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village comes into play.
This past weekend I got together with a few other bloggers, and we spent time getting to know the Emerald Coast a little bit better. Being somewhat of a local, I was most interested in finding places that I could bring my kids back to later. That included judging our rooms on whether I would bring my family back there. I am thrilled to say, I plan on bringing my family back there at some point in the near future. While we played in Destin and Fort Walton, we stayed at the Emerald Grande at HaborWalk Village.
The Emerald Grande is situated in the perfect location. If you don’t want to drive anywhere, just park your vehicle in the parking garage and then walk all over HaborWalk Village to explore the shops, food, and fun to be had. The condo we stayed in was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend or couples weekend getaway. 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Each room had it’s own TV, and we had 3 balconies on our room. Spacious living room, dining area, and a nice sized kitchen (one that I wouldn’t mind having in my home!) made up the space. And this may sound odd that I got excited over this but- There are even doorbells on the doors! Whether you are the type who wants to enjoy coffee in the morning staring out at the ocean, or want to take a nice bubble bath in the evenings, the Emerald Grande at HaborWalk Village will be able to make your stay something that you will be talking about for years.
Amenities available at Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village are varied and cover all your wants and needs for the most part. There is a salon/spa, a fitness room, a bar, and room service with to die for food offerings. The biggest plus for me was that with Emerald Grande being connected to HarborWalk Village, I didn’t have to drive if I didn’t want to. There was plenty of shopping, food joints, and fun activities to be had all within walking distance of the condos. Emerald Grande offers you two pools to enjoy, indoor and outdoor, as well. So everyone can have some down time.
Prices range from around $250 a night up to $600 a night. Now for the $250 price point you are getting a 1 bedroom/2 bathroom condo. For a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom like we stayed in you would be looking at around $350 a night. I know this may sound like a lot. But think about it this way- save on gas because you can walk pretty much everywhere, save on eating out because you can utilize your kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and save on having to keep everyone occupied all the time constantly! If you are doing a 3 bedroom with a group of friends, then you all could split the cost. That makes it around $100 a night each room. Now doesn’t that sound like a deal! I can’t wait to do a girls weekend, or even to escape for the weekend with my honey to enjoy some down time.
