Curious Critters Volume Two by David FitzSimmons #bookreview

Children’s books are something we look for anytime we are out and about. Whether we are stopping in at a thrift store, or yard saling on a Saturday. I have filled shelves and shelves of books for the kids. Why?! Because there is nothing better to me than to see my kids sitting there with a book in their hands instead of a game controller. I keep buying books for them in hopes that I will find that perfect book that causes that phenomenon. So when I get the opportunity to review children’s books, I normally jump on them.

Curios Critters Volume Two by David FitzSimmonsWhen we were sent Curious Critters Volume Two by David FitzSimmons to review, I was skeptical at first (before I actually had it in hand) that it wouldn’t work for the age ranges we have. I am happy to say that it fits easily in our 7-10 age group. Those were the boys that enjoyed it the most.

Geometer Moth in Curious Critters Volume TwoPages filled with different critters, and information on each, is sure to keep their brains working and imaginations flowing. Your critter lover will find beetles, frogs, squirrels, moths, and more. The photographs in the book are absolutely stunning. A few look like they are ready to pop off the page. The descriptions are written in a way that keeps your child’s attention for the whole description.
